Direct-Served Rail Access with On-Terminal Capacity

Duraport offers on-terminal rail service with capacity to accommodate up to 60 railcars on-site, supported by approximately 6,500 linear feet of rail track owned within the terminal. The facility is unit-train capable and is directly served by Norfolk Southern and CSX via Conrail, providing connectivity to regional and national rail networks. Rail operations support movements of bulk commodities and project cargo, including cement, sand, stone, aggregates, recycled metals, and other construction and industrial materials. Rail scales are located within the overall terminal facility.

Rail service is fully integrated with Duraport’s marine terminal and yard infrastructure, supporting transloading between rail, vessel, barge, and truck for industrial, construction, and infrastructure-related cargo movements. Duraport operates an on-site Shuttle Wagon to facilitate efficient intra-terminal railcar positioning and movements. Additional rail storage capacity may be made available within the surrounding rail network, subject to coordination with Conrail.
