Transshipment

Duraport Marine & Rail Terminal provides integrated transshipment services supporting complex cargo movements that require controlled handling, staging, and transfer across marine and landside modes. The terminal is purpose-built to accommodate heavy-lift, oversized, and project cargo requiring berth-side execution and precise operational sequencing.

Duraport has successfully executed multi-phase transshipment operations involving the offloading, staging, storage, and reloading of large industrial components, including turbines, generators, and associated equipment. These projects have supported barge-based movements for regional and long-haul transport, with cargo transshipped through the terminal under defined operating plans and schedules.

Transshipment activities are performed utilizing Duraport’s terminal infrastructure, equipment, and operating personnel, including berth-side lifting, heavy-pick operations, yard staging, and cargo securing. Operations are conducted under strict safety, environmental, and security standards, ensuring reliable execution for infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects.
