PROJECTS

Regional Aggregate and Soil Movement

Duraport Marine & Rail Terminal supports regional aggregate and soil movements through integrated marine, yard, and landside operations. The terminal provides the infrastructure, equipment, and operating capability required to receive, stockpile, stage, and transport large volumes of construction materials serving infrastructure, environmental, and land development projects throughout the region.

Duraport has successfully executed multi-movement projects involving the receipt of specialty fill and aggregate materials by truck, on-terminal stockpiling and short-term storage, and subsequent barge loading for regional marine transport. Operations have included coordinated material handling, barge loading, and barge movements supporting high-volume, schedule-driven shipments.

These operations are performed using Duraport’s terminal equipment, marine assets, and operating personnel, with an emphasis on efficient material flow, controlled staging, and safe execution. Aggregate and soil movements are managed under established safety and environmental standards, supporting reliable delivery for regional construction and infrastructure initiatives.
