PROJECTS
Precast Assembly
Duraport Marine & Rail Terminal supports precast assembly and heavy concrete operations for transportation, tunnel, bridge, and waterfront infrastructure projects. The terminal provides the laydown area, load-bearing capacity, and waterfront access required for the fabrication, assembly, staging, and deployment of large precast concrete components used in public works and marine construction applications.
Duraport has executed projects involving the on-terminal assembly, curing, storage, and sequencing of high-mass precast concrete elements, including concrete mats and protective structures used for tunnel stabilization and erosion protection. Operations are structured to support barge-based transport and in-water installation in support of schedule-driven construction programs.
Precast operations are performed utilizing Duraport’s terminal infrastructure, heavy-duty yard areas, and berth-side access, enabling controlled lifting and transfer of assembled components from terminal to barge. All activities are conducted under established safety, environmental, and quality-control standards consistent with DOT and federal infrastructure project requirements.
